Well needless to say we have been a bit too busy to post blogs lately but I think it is time for an update.  Many of you have put in requests for fabrics that you would like to see in-stock and we are working very closely with our suppliers to bring those fabrics to you.

It is an unprecedented time in the fabric world.  Suppliers and manufacturers are scrambling to keep up with demand and products are selling out and that's a good thing.  So many of you are working so hard to help your communities to stay safe by making masks, gowns and caps.  Hats off to all of you who are giving so generously of your time and resources.  Canada Sews has delivered over 100,000 items Canada wide.  I am so proud to be a part of this volunteer group which was started out of a need for protective equipment in the health care industry.  I just want to say thank you to everyone who is working away to keep us safe.  If you want to help in this effort please visit their website.  There is still a need for sewers and other volunteers.

When I am not making masks I am seeking out new fabrics and yes they are hard to come by at the moment.  I did manage to replenish my stock of Art Gallery Fabrics so you can check those out on the website.  You can also check out our clearance section for good deals on quality fabrics. Our Timeless Treasures  Fabric is now on sale and you save $2 per metre.
