This rug was so easy to crochet.  I started on Saturday morning and finished adding the fringes in the evening.  The entire rug is done in a single crochet stitch using a Knitter's Pride 8mm Crochet Hook.  

I simply chained 52 stitches and single crocheted to the desired length and voila.  My yarn of choice for this project is Lion brand Mandala Thick and Quick Yarn (150g Super Bulky) in Swirl.

The rug in the pic measures 53.5cm(21") x 78.5cm(31") and 1cm (.25") thick. I used 5.5 balls of yarn for this project and I absolutely love the results.
